Broadbills

Broadbills are among the most spectacular birds on earth but most are exceptionally difficult to observe. This combination makes them perhaps my favorite or all families of birds. When you are fortunate enough to see one of them, it is an great day

goldfish

Goldfish actually exist in a far wider range of colors than their name implies. They are suitable for both ponds and home aquariums, although the different color varieties can vary in terms of their hardiness, and not all are suited to being kept outdoors all year in areas where temperatures can fluctuate widely.

starfish

Interesting Facts about Starfish:
Starfish are also known as sea stars and are not really fish despite the name been given to them. These are echinoderms, which are found abundant in the deep blue seas and shallow waters as well.

cheetah

The fastest land animal in the world, the cheetah is a marvel of evolution. The cheetah’s slender, long-legged body is built for speed. Cheetahs are tan in color with black spots all over their bodies. They can also be distinguished from other big cats by their smaller size, spotted coats, small heads and ears and distinctive "tear stripes" that stretch from the corner of the eye to the side of the nose.

Fun Fact: I was really inspired by the Proenza Fall 2011 Collection to wear velvet head to toe... it's kind of the perfect winter fabric! But this look kinda reminds me of a Chloe Fall 2009 look! This top is actually a short scandalous dress so I thought it would be wicked to wear it as a top tucked in to black velvet harem pants, and VOILA...it looks like a jumpsuit :)
P.S. Happppy Birthday MOM!!!!!! YAY!!!

gulls

Small to large seabirds, many of which also live inland for at least part of the year; some are strictly marine. Most are grey, black and white when fully mature, but extensively marked with various shades of brown during from one to four years of immaturity. They have long, slim wings and can fly exceptionally well, but also strong legs, which give them reasonably good mobility on the ground. They swim buoyantly and often resort to water to roost at night. There are many other gulls around the world that do not visit the UK.

The Look: Tribal Princess + African

Fun Fact: I LOVE African textiles! And have been obsessed with African jewelry and Art for a while now. I went on an African adventure with my school about 15 years ago, and stayed on Kuki Gallmann's ranch who is the amazing author of the book, I dreamed of Africa which was later made into a movie starring Kim Basinger. It was such an amazing and special trip! My sisters also studied African Art history in school and our whole family loves African Art! I really love the Suno collection and what they are doing with their textiles and how they give back to the Kenyan economy. They employ Kenyan artists and make their fashion forward clothing in Kenya...soo cool!
