In a first for high profile fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, the brand has released their first pair of eyewear in the form of the L'Incognito Sunglasses. In a page out of Geordi LaForge and Star Trek: The Next Generation with the visor steez, the sunglasses feature a large wrap-around frame-less build. Aside from the style seen here, other colorways are also available.

For Raf Simons, their latest 2008 spring/summer release in the Show Boats is arguably some next next NEXT level stuff in a design that resides very much in the avant garde realm of footwear design. The white patent leather boot includes multi colored straps, with cork heel counter and suede lining.

"Perspective" designed by Pharrell

The "Perspective" Chair was designed by Pharrell in collaboration with Domeau & Pérès who built it and will be making the additional chairs. The chair, as well as another chair design and a table will be part of a show in Paris at the prestigious Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie. The show will be from October 21st 2008 until January 10th 2009. The chairs will be available in a few colors and only 4 of each will be sold. The chair represents the love between a woman and man.

Pharrell had this to say about the design
“I had often wondered what it’s like to truly be in love,not lust for once..So I decided not to ask what it was like in someone else’s shoes or what it was like to sit in their seat..I decided to sketch out my own experiment; the perspective chair.”

Kanye West x Casio G-Shock 25th Anniversary

On Wednesday, New York was the setting for the American celebrations of Casio G-Shock's 25th anniversary. Among the headliners were the likes of Spike Lee and Kanye West as he ripped the roof off the place with a crazy performance complete with topless astronauts. As part of the celebration, legendary artist Eric Haze put his creativity to work creating a special box set including watch and t-shirt.
