The Look: Goth + Guitar Hero

Fun Fact: This skirt is so special to us cause it's an old Betsey Johnson skirt with an original label. We found it at the Manhattan Vintage Clothing show in NYC a few years ago. The Look: 1960's + Kaleidoscope

Fun Fact: I was sooooo excited when I found these vintage monkey earrings at the Long beach flea market in L.A. I love how they are swinging from green bananas! The sleeves on this dress are pretty big and they are also in a square shape so I picked them up and pinned them together with the flower brooch to make it look like a shawl on top of the dress!

The Look: Gorilla + Trompe L'Oeil

Fun Fact: This is one of my favorite sweaters that we made from the Beckerman collection. I'm obsessed with the gorilla arms. When we designed the sweater, we had this idea that we wanted to put a knitwear belt and knitted pearl necklace on the sweater so that we didn't have to wear any accessories with it! I just went to the doctor to get an xray on my broken foot (it's been 3 weeks already with the cast on) and he says 3 more to go. I broke it in two places on the dance floor, so he said it might take longer to heal. And he also told me that I probably won't be able to wear heels for a year..OMG!!! I'm gonna prove him wrong!

Fun Fact: My Amazzzzzing friend Gia sent me a box of her cherished pieces from her Grandmother's vintage collection! She wanted me to put them to good use and I was sooo excited to receive the amazing package! This is one of my favourite things she sent! I love how the jacket and dress are matchy matchy and I love the striped print!!! Thanks Gia!!!! Mwah!!!

Victoria Secret Party with the Angels!

A few weeks ago, we went to the opening party of Victoria Secret! It's finally in Canada---Yahoooooo! We definitely waited long enough..eh? (Haha!) The Victoria Secret Angels were there and we got to hang with the amazingly sweet and awesome Erin Heatherton , Chanel Iman and Adriana Lima (LOVE THEM!!!) They also put gigantic runway Angel wings outside of the store, so that we can all pretend that we are Victoria Secret angels! The night was so much fun cause we went with our Mom and sipped on pink petal drinks.. it was such a fun girls night out!

Fun Fact: As you can tell with all the different stickers on my cast.....us Beckerman sisters have an obbbbsesssion with STICKERS! We were those girls at Elementary school on recess break trading stickers to get as many different ones as possible. We went to the SandyLion sticker factory last month to stock up and they told us that fuzzy stickers are going extinct!!!! They aren't going to make them anymore because they are too expensive! We bought as many as we could and we have to go back to buy more! AHHH!

The Look: Motorcycle + Surf and Turf

Fun Fact: We were completely obsessed with the Proenza Schouler's Spring 2010 line because we loved how surfer rock it was. Growing up we went through every style and phase of dressing up. We were raver/ skaters, we were hippies, we were surfers, we did them all! Hahha! But for some reason when any designer comes out with some kind of surfing inspired collection that has tie dye in it (especially with colorful hair) we get so excited!!! The skirt is really clever because the Proenza boys made it look like a leather jacket that is tied around my waist.
